Our beautiful village is set to feature in a new murder mystery drama 🎥
Lighthouse Productions have chosen to use the village of claverley as part of their drama – “Murder Before Evensong” set to air later on this year on channel 5.
Filming will take place on the following dates in the centre of the village and on church street with scenes centred around the old post office, the cafe and the church.
Thursday 30th January
Friday 14th February
Monday 17th February
Filming will start from 7.30am and continue during daylight hours.
All affected residents should now have been contacted. Some road closures will be in place and cars will need to be temporarily removed from areas of church street on filming days.
Film crews will be parking vehicles and have equipment based on the pub car parks.
Lighthouse Productions are looking forward to using our village and we hope that everyone will be understanding of temporary distribution during these periods.
